Jessica Blackmore

Hi! My name is Jessica Blackmore, but most people just call me Jess! I am a native of the State of Kansas, born and raised!  I like to say I am from Sycamore, but I went to school in Neodesha and graduated from Neodesha High School in 1996.  As a child my family lived in the same house that I live in now, and I lived there with my parents and my 3 little sisters until I was 17. I was raised in the First Presbyterian Church, and my first real job I was being a carhop! I have always worked for and with the public, and I enjoy people a lot. Im a people person! 

When I was 21 I moved to Manhattan, KS and attended Crums Beauty College. I have been a licenced Cosmetologist for 25 years and worked at and owned my own salon for a number of years. Working with and for the public has brought Me a lot of happiness because I love getting to know people and also listening and being there for them. I am excited to apply this in real estate for my clients, I have been told I am a good listener and I like to make people happy. 

My husband Brian and I have been married since 2002. He has a constuction company called Blackmore Constuction, which he has owned for 15 years. Come January We will have been back living in the house I grew up in for 10 years. I feel having a family and friends, and a stable root system is important and We want to pass that down to our 2 grown daughters, Daisy who is 20, and Lily who is 18. We also have 4 dogs and 2 cats and Lily has horse named Honey! 

I enjoy doing things together with My Husband, and as a family, We work a lot outside on our projects and on our properties, We enjoying riding motorcycles, and having friends over,We are nearly empty nesters, and are hoping to do more camping trips as We have the time.

I enjoy gardening, DYI's, antique and flea markets, and basically creating a inviting and happy home. I want to help people find that place that they can put down roots and do that with and for their familes, wherever they can be happy and successful. I look forward to building new relationships and nurturing all the ones that have gotten me to this point in my Life personally and professionally. 

I have alway had a great interest in real estate, and enjoy the work and the People so much. I look forward to pairing My knowledge of the area, and the relationships I have with the people here, to serving and meeting the needs of people.
