Growing up on a small farm north of Medicine Lodge, KS, I knew and understood the importance of our natural resources, conservation and wildlife from early childhood. During my early years and through high school I worked for area farmers and ranchers and discovered my appreciation for the land and being outdoors. While obtaining a bachelor degree in Agriculture Business and Economics at West Texas State University of Texas A&M, I worked for the Randall County Texas Conservation District from 1983-1986. In 1987, I began my career with the Soil Conservation Service (SCS) in Barber County, KS. In 1990 I moved with SCS to Rush County, KS. The following year a promotion brought me to Montgomery County, KS as the District Conservationist for SCS eventually being promoted to Supervisory District Conservationist for the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) for Montgomery (MG), Elk (EK) and Chautauqua (CQ) counties. During the last year of my career, Cherokee (CK), Labette (LB) and Crawford (CR) counties were also added to my responsibilities. At the end of 2020, I finished my nearly 34 year career with NRCS and began my career in real estate where my years of experience and knowledge concerning the local area could be applied to assist you in finding your dream home or ranch. Buying or selling land may only happen once or twice in a persons life and can be overwhelming. Whether buying or selling I would welcome the opportunity to share my experience and knowledge about our natural resources to help you through the process and make your dreams a reality. I am looking forward to uniting buyers and sellers of agricultural ranch, farmland and hunting property all while building a lasting relationship.
