I was born and raised in Kansas, and some of my earliest and most meaningful memories were spent outdoors with my grandfather. He was a renowned wildlife and landscape artist who taught me to appreciate the land for more than what it could provide. He had an incredible ability to see the beauty in a landscape, understand the wildlife it supported, and recognize the story behind every piece of ground. If there was a sunrise worth watching, we stopped and watched it. Those moments taught me to slow down, pay attention, and appreciate the outdoors in a way that has stayed with me throughout my life.
That appreciation for the outdoors has continued throughout my life. Hunting, fishing, and spending time on the land are still some of the things I enjoy most, and I have made it a priority to share those experiences with my family. Some of our best memories have come from time spent outdoors together. To me, land is about much more than acreage or a transaction. Whether it is a family farm, hunting property, recreational tract, or investment, land can represent opportunity, memories, and a legacy that lasts for generations.
Professionally, I have spent my career in sales and leadership, building relationships, developing teams, earning trust, and helping people reach their goals. Today, I serve as the Director of Growth and Integration at L2 Realty, where I use that experience to help create opportunities for both current and future L2 agents.
My role focuses on helping agents grow their businesses, develop their strengths, and build a path toward their personal and professional goals, while also helping L2 continue to grow. A key part of that responsibility is identifying and recruiting talented agents who align with L2's culture, values, and vision for the future. I believe bringing the right people into an organization is about more than experience or production. It is about finding individuals who share a commitment to relationships, integrity, hard work, personal growth, and serving their clients at a high level.
I believe that when you invest in good people and give them the tools, support, and opportunity to succeed, everyone benefits. My role allows me to work alongside agents, identify opportunities for growth, strengthen relationships, recruit and develop talent, and help build an environment where agents can thrive. Ultimately, the success of L2 is tied directly to the success of the people who represent it.
My passion for land and the outdoors is what brought me to L2, but the people are what make me proud to be here. I enjoy learning about properties, understanding what makes a piece of land unique, and helping connect people with opportunities that fit their goals, lifestyle, and vision for the future. I believe clients deserve an agent who will listen, work hard, communicate honestly, and treat their investment with the same care they would.
I currently live in Pittsburg, Kansas, with my wife, Megan, who is a school-based occupational therapist, our four children, and our black Lab, Royal. Our oldest daughter, Addison, is a freshman at Neosho County Community College in Chanute, where she plays volleyball as a right-side hitter and setter. Our daughter Emery is in eighth grade, our son Abram (Abe) is a sixth grader, and our youngest, Isla, is in second grade.
When I am not working, much of my time revolves around my family and sports. I am an avid Jayhawk, Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Chiefs, and Pitt State Gorilla fan. I try to sneak in a round of golf whenever time allows, but coaching youth sports takes up a good portion of my free time. One of my favorite things is watching my kids compete and supporting them in whatever sport or activity they are pursuing.
For me, L2 represents an opportunity to bring together the things that matter most to me—family, relationships, hard work, the outdoors, and a genuine appreciation for land. I am proud to call Kansas home and proud to be part of a company that values relationships and the people behind them. Whether I am helping an agent take the next step in their career, recruiting someone who can contribute to the L2 family, or helping a client find the right piece of land, my goal is the same: create opportunity, build relationships, and help people grow their own legacy.
