Kansas is a land of endless outdoor possibilities, and Southeast Kansas, where I hang my hat, is the perfect gateway for outdoor enthusiasts traveling from the Southern United States. Nestled in the rural charm of Montgomery County and actively involved in the Independence community, I’ve built my career and my family life around the values of hard work, passion, and connection to the land.

Growing up, my roots ran deep in Kansas' Flint Hills before my family moved east to the Wooded Hills region. This upbringing shaped my appreciation for the rich landscapes that make Kansas unique. After earning my degree from Pittsburg State University, I dedicated eight rewarding years to education, six of which were spent teaching 7th-grade science. But as fulfilling as teaching was, my heart always yearned for the great outdoors.

If time and money were no object, you’d find me hunting, fishing, or planting food plots for deer and turkey. My passion for the outdoors has always been a defining part of my life—a passion I’m fortunate to share with my family. My wife keeps our busy household grounded, and together we’re raising two sons and a spirited daughter with the same values instilled in me by my parents and grandparents.

Professionally, I’ve turned my lifelong love of the outdoors into a thriving career. I own an outfitting business in Southeast Kansas, managing hunting leases and booking hunts across multiple states. Since guiding my first hunt in 2006, I’ve been dedicated to helping others experience the thrill of the hunt. In 2015, I added another chapter to my career by earning my real estate license, closing my first farm sale shortly after. Now a licensed broker in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri, I specialize in connecting buyers and sellers with farms, land, and hunting properties that fit their lifestyle and goals.
