Although small in relation to other premier whitetail properties, this tract is mighty and packs a serious punch! This is the spot within the spot. Take a gander at the bucks that roamed this property last fall and winter, and there is no doubt you will have an opportunity at harvesting a mature buck near or above Boone and Crockett! As a bonus, there is a thriving population of bobwhite quail and pheasants that inhabit the thick native grasses all over the land. A covey of nearly 15 first-hatch quail chicks was flushed at the end of July in one of the food plots. 

The pockets of cottonwood and willow trees create shaded bedding areas and travel corridors for deer and other critters to move throughout the property. The mature trees also offer plenty of locations for hanging tree stands. Three food plots have been strategically established on the tract to create easier hunting and supplemental food sources for deer before they head out to the larger agricultural fields surrounding the property. Common crops found bordering the property often include soybeans, winter wheat, milo, and forage sorghum. There is also a small watering hole on the southern side of the property that adds attraction and a necessary resource for a turn-key hunting property. The remaining acreage is composed of thick, warm-season native grasses like Big Bluestem, Switchgrass, Indiangrass, Little Bluestem, and other native forbs like Ragweed, Pokeweed, Wild Lettuce, and Sunflower providing optimum bedding and browse on the broadleaf species. It is with no surprise that many deer and other wildlife utilize this big bedding area in the fall and winter so that they are in close proximity to the nearby crop fields.
