At the start of the property coming off Kansas Road you will see multiple wooded draws stretching up toward the north end that run down into the main creek. The deer hunting in this area has a good reputation and this property is no different. Along these funneled draws are multiple thick areas, prime for wildlife bedding. Several varieties of hardwoods line these draws including some white and red oaks littering the ground with forage through the fall and early winter. Holding a solid deer herd it also has the potential for a lot of November and October deer travel from the Middle Caney Creek just to the south. From a grazing perspective there are some features that can be utilized to make the pasture very efficient. The pens work well for onsite processing and a easy load out. It has a solid rock road all the way from the highway where a semi can drive in and out with ease. The cross fence splits the property into a north and south pasture where you can ensure even grazing across the pasture. Consisting of mostly native grasses there is some bermuda and fescue scattered through the draws.
