Ask Jamie Reister
Is deer hunting or owning your own small tract of land on your mind? Tired of wondering where you are going to hunt every year? You are in luck! Located on the edge of Independence Kansas sets this awesome little hunting pad! 16 +/- acres gives you a great spot to bow hunt. If you are thinking thats not big enough to hold deer well it sure does. Trail cam was set up for less than two days on the southeast corner of the property that resulted in 185 pictures. Small farms have been known to host big deer. Mature timber throughout along with a wet weather creek and heavy vegetation gives this tremendous potential. Turkeys have been know to use the area for feeding and roosting as well. Bordering the south property line is a crop field with numerous trails leading to and from. If hunting is not your thing then maybe just a spot for the family to get together outdoors is an option! With the rugged terrain it would sure make a good play area. Lets go take a look, I'd love to hear your ideas!
