This property lays just north of 400 highway on County Road 4900. Starting in the south east corner you will see the hill side slope up and to the west along the south road edge. From here it goes down north into tillable creek bottom. Made up of class II, dennis and verdigris silt loam soils. This farm ground is on the better side of Kansas's tillable land with the proven yields in the area.
Salt creek weaves through the place west to east making lots of bends and nooks filled with brushy cover. A rock bottom lets it flow clear and clean, providing a great water source for wildlife in the area. The creek connects two larger groups of woods and serves as a whitetail highway during the fall months. You will also find a variety of hardwoods along this creek, where a couple tree stands belong overlooking the field edge. Several mature walnuts are scattered through the property, adding timber value.
